私は香港資本の会社に勤めている。従業員数は、工場のスタッフも含めると
約26,000名ほどだ。その中で日本人の正規社員は私ひとりだ。それなりに日本人であることを意識しなければいけないと自覚しているつもりだ。なぜなら、26,000人が私を通して日本をみているかもしれないからだ。（友人からは「その方がよっぽど怖いわ」って言われたこともあるけどね）
そんな環境の中で、少しでも正しく日本をみてもらいたいという気持ちもあって、日本の祝日についてはその度に祝日の意味を日本に関係するビジネスに関わるメンバーには一斉メールしてきた。そして、平成から令和だ。今朝、少し天皇陛下についてネットで調べて同じようにCEO含めて関係者にメールでお知らせした。
